Electricians & electrical contractors

Electrician website design that gets you the call

Half the kitchen outlets go dead, or the new EV is sitting in a garage with one old outlet. The homeowner searches for an electrician nearby, opens two or three sites and calls the one that looks licensed, local and easy to reach.

We design and write websites for electricians, with your license number, the towns you work in and a call button on every screen. $69 to launch, then $35 a month. No contract.

Who is calling

Four kinds of electrical calls, one website

A breaker that won't reset and a panel upgrade quote are different visits to the same site. Each of them should find their part of the site quickly.

Power problem, right now

Part of the house is dead, a breaker keeps tripping, an outlet smells hot. They want your number, whether you come out today, and a line telling them what to do until you get there.

A planned upgrade

Panel replacement, an EV charger, a generator transfer switch, a remodel. Bigger money and a permit. They compare a few electricians and read reviews before asking for a quote.

The small-jobs list

A ceiling fan, recessed lights, a GFCI by the sink, an outdoor outlet. Homeowners save these up and want to know you take small jobs before they call.

Repeat and commercial work

Property managers, landlords, builders, small shops. They look for steady service: tenant turnovers, lighting retrofits, service agreements. One clear section tells them you do this work.

The work has seasons too. Generator and transfer switch questions pick up before storm season, AC circuits and pool pumps in summer, outdoor lighting in fall. With edits included, your site can lead with what people are calling about that month.

Free checklist

What to put on your electrician website (checklist)

Use it whether you build with us, hire someone else or do it yourself. Each item answers a question homeowners and property managers ask before they hire an electrician.

  • A phone number you can tap from the header. Same number as your Google Business Profile and your van. Someone with a dead circuit should not hunt for it.
  • Where you stand on emergency calls. Say if you take same-day or after-hours calls and whether they cost more. If you don't, show your hours plainly.
  • A short safety line. Burning smell or sparks: shut that breaker off, stay away from the outlet, call. Smoke or flames: get out and call 911 first. It helps the customer and shows you know the work.
  • Your electrical license number. In the footer at least, with master or contractor license if you hold one. Some states require it on advertising, which can include your website, so check your state’s rules.
  • Insurance, and bonding where it applies. People letting someone open their panel want to know you carry liability insurance. Bonding requirements vary, so check your state’s rules before you mention it.
  • That you pull permits and handle inspections. Panel swaps, new circuits and EV chargers usually need one. Home buyers, sellers and insurers ask about it, and it tells people the work gets inspected.
  • Each service on its own line. Panel upgrades, EV chargers, generators, lighting, rewiring, surge protection, troubleshooting. List only what you do. People search each one separately.
  • Residential, commercial, or both. Say it near the top. It brings the calls you want and cuts down the ones you would turn away.
  • The towns you cover, in plain text. A list people can scan for their town, plus any trip charge for the outer edge. A map image alone is easy to miss.
  • How quotes and service calls are priced. A flat service call fee if you have one, and whether panel or charger estimates are free. You answer this on the phone daily anyway.
  • Before-and-after photos of real jobs. A photo of an old fuse box next to the new, labeled panel shows the work better than text can. Leave house numbers and faces out unless the customer says yes.
  • Rebates linked, not quoted. Utility programs for EV chargers and panel upgrades change often. Link the program page instead of a dollar amount that goes stale.

Rather hand it off? We go through these on the onboarding call and put what applies on your site. We only publish what you give us.

What's included

What you get for $69, then $35 a month

One plan. No setup tiers, no contract, no extra charge for edits.

  • Custom website designed and written for you. Works on desktop, phone and tablet. We write the text from your services and your real Google reviews.
  • Tap-to-call buttons and a contact form. Urgent calls are one tap away, and people planning a panel or charger job can send a quote request instead.
  • Local SEO setup. Your city and services in every page title, your service area and map on the site, business details marked up for Google, linked to your Google Business Profile.
  • Your domain, hosting and SSL certificate. Use the domain you have, or we help you get one. You always own it.
  • Edits by our team whenever you need them. A new service, more towns, a storm-season generator note, fresh panel photos. Send a message and it is usually live in 2–3 business days.
  • A quick launch call. We collect what we need in one call. You approve before it goes live.

How it works

One call, then a live site in 1–3 business days

You can do the call from the truck between jobs. After that we need one OK from you.

  1. 1

    Onboarding call

We ask what work you take and turn down, residential or commercial, the towns you cover, your hours and your license and insurance details. You send job photos if you have them.

  2. 2

    We build it

We design the site and write every section around your real services and service area.

  3. 3

    You check it

Look it over on your phone, ask for changes. Nothing goes live until you approve.

  4. 4

    Live in 1–3 business days

The site goes live. From then on we handle hosting, security, SEO upkeep and your edits every month.

Sample design

An electrician website you can click through

This is a sample site we built to show the style and structure of an electrician website from CraftLaunch. Wrenfield Electric Co. is a made-up business: its phone number, email, rating and reviews are fictional. Your site is written from your real services, service area and Google reviews.

Sample electrician website design for Wrenfield Electric Co., a fictional Columbus, Ohio electrician: navy and white layout with a rounded hero photo of an electrician at an open breaker panel, the headline “Wiring done right. Explained clearly.”, service chips, a request form and a services section.
Sample design · Columbus, OH

Wrenfield Electric Co.

A clean navy-and-white design for a residential electrician. The hero is a large rounded photo with the headline over it, a call button and a short request form beside it. Small chips list the kinds of work: panels, EV chargers, fans, outlets, generators, repairs.

Further down: six services with one plain sentence each, a before-and-after slider for a panel upgrade, a list of signs your panel or wiring needs a look, a burning-smell safety note, and a seasonal section for Columbus homes. It closes with reviews, four steps of a service call, hours and the service area.

FAQ

Electrician website questions, answered

Still unsure? Email us at getcraftlaunch@gmail.com.

How much does an electrician website from CraftLaunch cost?

$69 once to design, write and launch your site, then $35/month for hosting, the SSL certificate, security updates, SEO upkeep and edits by our team. It is month-to-month with no contract: cancel any time and it takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for.

Can the site show my electrical license number and insurance?

Yes. Give us your license number, the license type (journeyman, master or contractor) and your insurance details on the onboarding call, and we put them in the footer and near the call button. Some states require the license number on advertising, so check your state’s rules. We only publish what you provide; we never invent credentials.

I do residential and commercial work. Can one site cover both?

Yes. We give each its own section, so a homeowner sees panel upgrades and EV chargers while a property manager or builder sees tenant build-outs, lighting retrofits and service work. If you only want one kind of job, we say that clearly and leave the other out.

What about emergency and after-hours calls?

Every page has a tap-to-call button. If you answer nights and weekends, that goes in your headline and next to the button, along with any after-hours rate you want shown. If you don’t, we show your real hours and a short safety note, such as turning off the breaker if an outlet smells hot. We only publish what you actually offer.

Can I add before-and-after photos and change seasonal offers?

Yes. Send photos of panel swaps, rewiring or lighting jobs whenever you have them, and tell us when you want to push generator transfer switches before storm season or EV chargers in spring. Those edits are included in your plan and are usually live in 2–3 business days.

Will my electrician website rank first on Google?

No one can honestly guarantee a first-page ranking. We do the standard local SEO work: your city and services in every page title, your service area and map on the site, your business details marked up for Google and the site linked to your Google Business Profile. Results depend on your market and how established your business is.

Be the electrician they trust enough to call.
