Pest control website design that gets you the call

Someone finds droppings in the pantry or a scorpion in the bathtub, and they want it dealt with this week. They search on their phone, look for a company that is local and licensed, and call. Your site should make that choice easy.

We design and write your pest control website, with a call button on every screen, your license where people can see it and the towns you treat. $69 to launch, then $35 a month. No contract.

What it has to handle

What a website for a pest control company has to do

A panicked call about bed bugs and a homeowner comparing quarterly plans want different things from the same site. Both should find their answer in a few seconds.

Something is in the house right now

Wasps over the door, scratching in the attic. They want your number, whether you can come out this week, and some sign you are licensed to treat inside a home.

Quarterly service plans

For many pest companies the recurring plan is the steady income. The site should spell out what a visit covers, what happens if bugs come back between visits and how to sign up.

Termite inspections for home sales

Some home sales need a termite (WDI) report before closing, depending on the loan and the state. Realtors and buyers need to see that you do inspections, how soon you can get out there and how to book one.

Whatever the season brings

Ants and termite swarmers in spring, mosquitoes after summer rain, mice moving indoors in fall. The homepage should talk about what is showing up this month.

Many callers also ask what you will spray in their house. A plain line about where you treat and what to do with kids and pets afterward answers that, without safety claims.

Free checklist

What to put on your pest control website (checklist)

Use it whether you build with us, hire someone else or do it yourself. Each item is something people look for before they let a pest control tech into their home.

  • Your phone number in the header, tappable. Use the same number as your Google Business Profile and your trucks.
  • Your license numbers. Most states license pest control companies and applicators, through the department of agriculture or a structural pest control board, and some want the license number on advertising. Check your state’s rules and put it in the footer at least.
  • Proof that you are insured. Say you carry liability insurance. Homeowners are letting you into the attic, the crawl space and the kids’ bedrooms.
  • Each pest on its own line. Termites, bed bugs, rodents, ants, roaches, mosquitoes. Each is its own search. List only what you treat.
  • How your service plan works. How often you come, what is covered, whether re-treats between visits are free and how to cancel.
  • What the first visit costs. If inspections are free, say it. If you charge an initial service fee, give the number or a range. You answer this on the phone all day anyway.
  • Termite and WDI inspections, if you do them. Turnaround time and who gets the report. The form and who is allowed to sign it vary by state, so check your state’s rules before you describe it.
  • Careful wording about safety. Skip “safe,” “harmless” and “non-toxic” claims about pesticides; federal and state rules restrict them. Say what you actually do instead, like where you treat and how long to keep kids and pets off a treated area.
  • Your hours and same-day policy. Say whether you can come the same day for a wasp nest or a mouse in the kitchen, and if weekends cost more. If you do not answer at night, show your hours.
  • The towns and zip codes you cover. In plain text, not only a map image. People scan the list for their town before they call.
  • Photos from real jobs. Before and after shots of sealed entry points, a rodent-proofed vent, mud tubes you found under a porch. They show the work better than stock bug photos.
  • A link to your Google reviews. Let people read all of them, not three you picked.

Rather hand it off? We go through these on the onboarding call and put what applies on your site. We only publish what you give us.

Sample design

A pest control website design you can click through

This is a sample site we built to show the style and layout of a pest control website from CraftLaunch. Cedar Hollow Pest Control is a made-up business: its name, phone number, rating and reviews are fictional. Your site is written from your real services, service area and Google reviews.

Sample pest control website design for Cedar Hollow Pest Control, a fictional San Antonio company: dark teal header with a green call button, the headline “Sleep Easy. Stay Pest Free.” beside a request-a-visit form, six service tiles from scorpion control to roach control, a seasonal pest calendar, customer reviews and a service area and hours section.
Sample design · San Antonio, TX

Cedar Hollow Pest Control

A dark teal and bright green design for a residential pest company. The headline sits next to a short “Request a visit” form, so someone can leave a name and phone number without scrolling, and the call button stays in the header.

Six services each get one plain sentence: scorpion and spider control, fire ant treatment, rodent exclusion, termite inspection, mosquito treatment and roach control. Then a seasonal pest calendar, reviews, service area with hours, and a callback form.

FAQ

Pest control website questions, answered

Still unsure? Email us at getcraftlaunch@gmail.com.

How much does a pest control website from CraftLaunch cost?

$69 once to design, write and launch your site, then $35/month for hosting, the SSL certificate, security updates, SEO upkeep and edits by our team. It is month-to-month with no contract: cancel any time and it takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for.

Can the site explain and sell my quarterly service plan?

Yes. Your plan gets its own section: how often you come out, which pests it covers, whether call-backs between visits are free and how to sign up. People sign up by calling you or sending the contact form. The site does not take card payments or run recurring billing; you keep doing that the way you do now.

Can you show my pest control license and insurance?

Yes. Give us your business license number, your applicator or operator license and your insurance details on the onboarding call, and we put them in the footer and next to the contact section. We only publish what you provide. States differ on how a license number has to appear in advertising, so tell us if yours has specific wording.

Can I change the homepage when the season changes?

Yes. Edits are included in your plan. Send us a message when you want to move from termite swarm season to mosquitoes, or put a fall rodent exclusion offer up front, and it is usually live in 2–3 business days.

Can realtors and buyers request a termite inspection on the site?

Yes. Anyone can tap to call or send the contact form with their address and what they need, and it lands in your email. If you do wood-destroying insect reports for home sales, we add a short section on how fast you get out there and who receives the report.

Will my pest control website rank first on Google?

No one can honestly guarantee a first-page ranking. We follow Google’s guidelines and do the basics well: your city and services in every page title, your service area and map on the site, your business details marked up for Google and the site linked to your Google Business Profile. Results depend on your market and how established your business is.
